Compliment: A Precious Gift
Compliments are one of the best gifts anyone can give. It is a verbal sunshine. There are a lot of people around who inspires you, helps you or make you a better person. Why we should keep it to ourselves, why not telling them their impact on our lives.
While thinking about the people I can show gratitude to and want to thank, I came across a very important person in my life, my best friend. She has a great impact on my life and done so much for me but in such a relation we don’t really say something like “Thank You” very often. I found this a good opportunity to write her a letter to compliment her and show my gratitude towards her. I reflected about the things I want to thank her, how she inspired me and helped me grow and shine.
Letter to my best friend
So I wrote a letter to my best friend Maham and included a lot of moments for which I wanted to thank her.
I decorated my letter with different things to make it look beautiful. It took me hours to decorate a simple letter. It was an amazing experience as I’ve never made something like this before for her. I put a lot of effort and time to write a beautiful letter that was showing how thankful I am to her. I sent her that letter.
When I told her that I’ve wrote a letter for you she got emotional. She said, “it is like a sudden attack for me”, it was because she never had received any such thing from me before. She wasn’t expecting such compliments from me and when I gave her the letter, her happiness had no bounds. It took her awhile to understand that I actually gave her a letter. When she read it, she got even more emotional. Afterwards she told me that she loves me too.
Knowing about her thoughts and emotions made me so happy. She also complimented me and showed gratitude that how I’ve been a reason of so many lollipop moments in her life. After receiving those compliments, I realized the importance and value of compliments that how it encourages people to do even better next time and spread happiness.
